Steve Huckvale Scholarships for Ghanaian Students

University of Bath is awarding scholarships for African students who are intending to study Engineering or Management. All the scholarships are for international fee-paying applicants for full-time taught masters degrees (MA/MSc/MBA) at the University of Bath in 2015. Each Scholarship is of worth £5,000. The scholarships range from £2,000 to £5,000 depending on the type of scholarship. Each is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year. The application deadline is 1 June 2017.

If you do not wish to apply for a particular scholarship you can unselect it at this stage.

Scholarship Description: There are 2 Steve Huckvale Scholarships each worth £5,000 for international fee-paying taught masters applicants in Africa who are intending to study Engineering or Management.

Duration of award(s): Scholarships are awarded for one year only.

What does it cover? Each Scholarship is of worth £5,000. Each is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year.

Selection Criteria: University’s most important aim is to encourage excellent students to choose to study here. All scholarship holders are chosen for their academic and personal excellence and their potential contribution to community at Bath. The information you provide in the separate scholarship application form will be used to judge your application together with your original course application.

Notification: University will notify all the successful candidates by 6 July 2015 at the latest.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. First you need to firmly accept an offer from us. The offer can be unconditional or conditional. Then, you need to complete the application form and send it to us before noon (BST) on Monday 1 June 2015. Please note that we do not award scholarships in order of application so (for example) if you apply on 1st February or 25 May your chances are exactly the same. We do not look at all the applications until after the closing date.
